St. Anne Teaching the Young Mary to Read

Instead of the usual book, St. Anne teaches her child from a scroll bearing the Ten Commandments. Mary wears a lighter tone of her usual blue; otherwise, it is the composition rather than clothing or attributes that identifies the figures.
